NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion men’s basketball team outscored Virginia Wesleyan 53-22 in the second half to claim a 89-55 victory on Friday night at the Ted Constant Convocation Center, which marked ODU’s final exhibition before the start of the 2016-17 season.
Four Monarchs scored in double-figures, as both Brandan and B.J. Stith netted 15 points, while Brandan also hauled down a game-high 11 rebounds to complete his double-double. Also in double-digits for ODU were Jordan Baker (10 points, four rebounds and four assists) and Zoran Talley (10 points and five rebounds). Ahmad Caver followed with nine points and a team-high five assists.
