NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion men’s tennis team took down Richmond (4-6) by a 7-0 score on Sunday at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center. ODU’s match originally scheduled against Howard for Sunday afternoon was cancelled due to HU not having enough players. With the victory over the Spiders, the Monarchs improve to 6-4 on the season.
“I was very pleased with our response today,” said ODU head coach Dominik Mueller. “Our guys tried really hard to improve the things we talked about after Friday and it showed. It’s a process and we took the first step in the right direction today.
