NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion women's tennis team improved to 6-1 on the season after downing Dartmouth (2-3) by a 7-0 score on Sunday afternoon at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center.
"I'm happy to walk away with a win today," said ODU head coach Dominic Manilla. "The final score doesn't indicate the battle that Dartmouth brought with them. Ultimately, I'm proud of our grittiness in the big points. We put ourselves in a bit of a deficit at certain spots, but were able to mentally overcome and get the win at all positions.
