HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Old Dominion (5-3-1, 3-1-0 C-USA) men’s soccer team suffered their first conference loss of the season to Marshall (3-4-2, 1-1-1 C-USA) on the road by a final score of 4-2.
ODU got out on top early from a Niko Klosterhalfen goal in the 18th minute. The Thundering Herd answered less than 10 minutes later to tie up the match. Two minutes later, Marshall took the lead off an Osmanu Mar goal in the 28th minute.
In the 39th minute, Jimmy Filerman was handed a red card and the Monarchs were left playing a man-down the remainder of the match.
