The weekend didn’t hold much for Old Dominion men’s basketball, as they fell to Rice University and snapped their four-game winning streak in a 75-66 loss during Alumni Day in the Ted Constant Center on Saturday, Feb. 13. It was a tough loss late in the season, but it’s being looked at as a learning experience and will hopefully prompt the Monarchs to work even harder going into their last few games.
“I don’t think we can just shrug this off,” said head coach Jeff Jones. “We need to feel the pain of this and then hopefully that will serve as a motivator when we get together on Monday.
