CLEMSON, S.C. – In the season opener, the Old Dominion men's tennis team (0-1) fell to Auburn (2-0) by a 7-0 score on Saturday morning at the Duckworth Family Tennis Facility on the campus of Clemson.
"We had plenty of chances," said ODU head coach Dominik Mueller. "At the end, I think you saw two even teams, where one had a full fall with tournaments and one that started in January. Auburn did an amazing job winning the close points and sets. We don't use that as an excuse but a motivation to build on that tomorrow.
