Old Dominion took a 10-0 lead after two innings Wednesday afternoon and rolled to a 15-1 nonconference college baseball victory over Princeton and a sweep of their two-game series at Bud Metheny Complex.
The Monarchs (15-5) improved to 6-0 and have outscored opponents 44-8 in mid-week games.
All nine starters recorded at least one hit for ODU, which totaled 16. Vinnie Pasquantino had two hits and two RBIs, Matt Schwarz drove in four runs and Will Morgan hit a two-run home run.
Sophomore left-hander Tommy Gertner, who carried a no-hitter into the seventh inning, earned the win.
