Barry Kornblau, an Old Dominion alumnus from Richmond, has donated $3 million to help pay for the $67.5 renovation of S.B. Ballard Stadium.
It is the largest donation to ODU athletics in 13 years, and comes on top of a recent $1.5 million donation from Dennis Ellmer to help fund a new club at the stadium. It will be known as the Priority Automotive Club. Ellmer, a Norfolk native, founded and is CEO and President of Priority Automotive.
Kornblau is a 1971 graduate of ODU who served three terms on the ODU Board of Visitors and various other athletic and academic boards.
