NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion men's tennis team improved to 3-0 on the season after taking down BYU (1-1) by a 4-1 score on Tuesday afternoon at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center. In its first three matches, ODU has outscored its opponents by a 21-1 score.
Last season, BYU defeated Old Dominion twice.
"What a great team win," said ODU head coach Dominik Mueller. "I'm so proud of our guys winning the doubles point after being down a break on all three courts and being down match point at one. We carried that momentum over to singles, but flattened out a little starting the second sets.
