Men's Tennis Drops 4-2 Match Against BYU in ITA Kickoff

WINSTON SALEM, N.C. – The Old Dominion men’s tennis (2-2) fell to BYU (4-2) by a 4-2 score on Saturday afternoon at the Wake Forest Indoor Tennis Center.

After dropping the doubles point, ODU’s Jannik Giesse made quick work out of Sam Tullis in No. 3 singles (6-3, 6-2) to tie the match at 1-1.

Aziz Kijametovic gave Old Dominion a 2-1 lead after downing BYU’s Sean Hill in No. 1 singles (6-4, 6-4); however, the Cougars would ultimately win on courts 2, 5 and 6 to seal the deal on a 4-2 victory on Saturday on the campus of Wake Forest.
