NORFOLK, Va. -- The Old Dominion men's soccer team opens its spring season on Saturday with a road match at Longwood at 2 p.m.
"The spring gives us a chance to come together as a team and to develop some of our younger players," said head coach Alan Dawson about the spring season. "We have a few players banged up, so the spring will be a real challenge for us. It will give the opportunity to some of our younger players to step up."
The Monarchs, who are coming off of an 8-5-3 campaign in 2015, play their first of two home spring games on Saturday, March 26, against Wingate at 1 p.
