NORFOLK, Va. - The Old Dominion (1-5-1, 0-2-1 C-USA) men's soccer team fell to Marshall (RV), 4-1 on Friday night. Sebastien Hauret knocked in ODU's goal in the 80th minute.
The Thundering Herd (6-1-1, 2-0-0 C-USA) got off to a hot start with a goal in the first minute of play. In the 15th minute, Marshall saw the back of the goal again. Heading into halftime, Marshall took a 2-0 lead.
ODU took offensive control for most of the second half, owning a 10-2 advantage in shots. The Monarchs closed in on the Marshall lead with a Hauret goal with 10 minutes to play in regulation.
