CARY, N.C. -- In the final tournament of the regular season, the Old Dominion men's golf team placed 14th in a weather-shortened Stitch Intercollegiate at MacGregor Downs Country Club this weekend.
The teams completed round two early on Saturday, before more severe weather moved into the area and cut the tournament short.
In a stacked field that featured six teams ranked in the top 41 nationally, Old Dominion (+24) turned in a 10-over 298 final round to finish 14th. No. 3 Wake Forest (-14) won the team title.
Individually, Gustav Fransson (+1) finished in a tie for 24th to lead the Monarchs.
