NORFOLK, Va. - Head coach Murray Rudisill and the Old Dominion men's golf program announced the addition of John Wang on Tuesday afternoon.
Wang is a native of Shanghai, China, and was ranked the No. 1 junior golfer in China at the age of 16. Wang will be the first-ever Chinese golfer on the ODU men's golf team.
"He's graduating from a strong academic International School in Shanghai," said Rudisill. "We're excited to have John join our Monarch family next fall. He should make an immediate impact in our starting lineup."
