Mathews to Compete at NCAA Swimming Championships

NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion University senior swimmer Reed Mathews was selected to compete at the 2016 NCAA swimming championships on March 23-26 at the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center.

A native of Denver, Colorado, Mathews was selected in the 200 fly. Mathews set an ODU and CCSA record in the event at the CCSA Championships with a time of 1:43.04. He also owns the school record in the 100 fly and recorded an NCAA B-cut time with a 46.61.

Sidni Hoxha was the last men’s swimmer to reach the NCAA Championships in 2014, who competed in the 50, 100 and 200 free.
