NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion women's tennis head coach, Dominic Manilla, named Pepe Nunez Navarro the program's newest Volunteer Assistant Coach on Tuesday afternoon. Nunez Navarro is a former Division I student-athlete for the men's tennis team at Old Dominion University and is also a graduate of Newberry College.
Nunez Navarro was ranked in the top 10 in Spain for U18, U16 and U14 and ranked No. 84 in the whole nation at one point.
He also worked as an Assistant Tennis Professional at the Shore and Country Club.
As a student-athlete at ODU, Nunez Navarro was named to the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll for his work in the classroom.
