PALM DESERT, Calif. -- Old Dominion men's golfer David Langley fired a one-over 73 in the final round of the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate to claim 42nd place (+5), slipping two strokes ahead of ODU's Antonio Cruz-Conde, who placed 50th (+7). As a team, the Monarchs finished in 20th place.
The 10th-ranked Oregon Ducks clinched the team trophy, shooting 26-under par at the tournament. No. 24 Colorado claimed the runner-up spot while fifth-ranked Texas Tech grabbed third. ODU finished in 20th ahead of Oral Roberts and Southern Utah.
Individually, Langley was the highest placing Monarch, taking 42nd out of 124 golfers.
