HOUSTON, Texas – The Old Dominion women’s soccer team (5-10-0, 3-4-0 C-USA) fell to Rice (9-4-1, 7-2-0 C-USA) by a 2-0 score on Friday night at Holloway Field, which served as Senior Night for the Owls.
Krista Moisio made three first half saves to keep the Owls off the scoreboard in the first half, as neither side would score in the opening 45 minutes. Rice out-shot the Lady Monarchs 5-1 and attempted the first half’s only two corners.
1:27 into the second half, Rice’s Aliza Wolfe scored her fourth goal of the season from 27-yards out to give the Owls a 1-0 advantage.
