NORFOLK, Va. -- The Old Dominion field hockey program hosted its inaugural Field Hockey Frenzy fundraiser Sunday afternoon at the L.R. Hill Sports Complex.
"This was an amazing event," assistant coach Natalie Barrett said. "It was great to have so many people come out and join us and play field hockey for the first time. We would like to thank everyone, and their generous donations were greatly appreciated. We look forward to making this an annual event."
In all, 24 teams made up of over 180 individual players participated in the event, which consisted of 15-minute 5v5 games in pool play before the winners advanced to the knockout round.
