Lady Monarchs Fall In Overtime At Central Michigan

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Old Dominion lacrosse fell 11-10 in overtime to Central Michigan Thursday night in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. Laruen Irvine scored the game tying goal to force overtime but the Lady Monarchs could not hold off the Chippewa’s who picked up their second Atlantic Sun conference win.

ODU scored the final three goals of regulation to tie the game after trailing by as many as four goals early in the second half. The Lady Monarchs scored nine goals in the second half before falling in the golden goal overtime period to Central Michigan.

Connor Carson and Lauren Irvine scored twice for Old Dominion, while six other Lady Monarchs each collected a goal of their own in the game.
