DELAND, Fla. -- The Old Dominion women's lacrosse team extended its winning streak to five and improved to 2-0 in Atlantic Sun play with a 13-9 road victory over Stetson on Friday evening at the Stetson Athletic Training Center.
"We had a few beautiful goals and some great defensive stops in man-up and man-down situations," said head coach Heather Holt. "The game was full of many different situations today. Everyone got some playing time which is nice too, but to get another conference win is just wonderful."
On a beautiful 70-degree evening in central Florida, Old Dominion (9-2, 2-0 A-Sun) was led by Ashmore Standing's four goals, giving the senior her seventh hat trick of the season.
