NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion (3-8, 1-1 ASUN) lacrosse team fell to Jacksonville (8-3, 1-0 ASUN) at home on Friday afternoon by a 21-12 score. Glory Johnson tallied a career-high five goals in the ASUN matchup.
In the second half, the Monarchs scored five straight goals to inch closer to Jacksonville.
The Dolphins got on the board first. The Monarchs answered with a Sophia Richie and Johnson goal. Tallying four back-to-back goals, Jacksonville extended their lead to 10-4 with more than 10 minutes left in the first half. Johnson and Lindsay Baer tallied two more goals before first half time expired.
