NORFOLK, Va. -- After winning the Atlantic Sun Championship today, the Old Dominion women's lacrosse team earned an automatic bid to its first-ever NCAA Tournament and plays at Towson on Friday.
"I am so happy for this team and our program," said head coach Heather Holt. "We have heard from so many alumni and fans today congratulating us and wishing us the best going forward. This is our first tournament appearance in the history of our program and we couldn't have asked to share this moment with any better group. These girls have worked so hard and they deserve this.
