NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion men's basketball head coach, Jeff Jones, announced the addition of David Strother to the roster on Tuesday afternoon. Strother, a 6-foot 2-inch 175-pound guard, is a graduate transfer from UNC Pembroke with one year of eligibility remaining and can compete right away.
"David had an extremely productive career at UNC Pembroke," said Jones. "His maturity, experience and skill set will translate very well into Conference USA."
Strother reigns from Lumberton, N.C. and attended Village Christian Academy, where he played for head coach Kurtis Darden. Strother earned all-county and all-state laurels as a prep senior after averaging 14.
