NORFOLK, Va. – Natalie Johnson of the ODU women’s soccer team was named the Conference USA Offesnive Player of the Week on Monday afternoon, as announced by league officials.
Johnson scored a goal in each of the games last week for ODU to help the Monarchs book their spot in the conference tournament. On Thursday evening, she assisted the first goal and scored the second goal to help the Monarchs to a 2-0 win against UTSA. On Sunday evening, Johnson took a team and season record of eight shots in the game and scored the first goal for the Monarchs.
