IRVING, TEXAS – Old Dominion University junior kickoff returner Isaiah Harper was named the Conference USA Special Teams Player of the Year, C-USA announced on Wednesday.
Harper led Conference USA and ranks eighth in FBS with a 29.1-yard kickoff return average and is tied for third in FBS with three kickoff return touchdowns.
A native of Chesapeake, Virginia, Harper returned a kickoff 100-yards for a touchdown against North Carolina, which was the longest kickoff return in ODU history.
A month later, Harper returned a pair of kickoffs for touchdowns at North Texas, taking his first one back 97-yards and later in the game returning one for 98-yards.
