NEW YORK -- Old Dominion's Erin Huffman has been named the Big East Offensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday.
Huffman scored a goal and added two assists in the 9-1 win over Temple, helping ODU post its highest single-game goal total since 2012. The junior from Pennsylvania then scored the game-winner in the 1-0 win at American.
Huffman now has nine goals on the season, which is tied for the team lead, to go along with five game-winning goals.
She is now fifth different Monarch to pick up a Big East weekly award this season, joining Rebecca Birch (Offensive, Sept.
