IRVING, Texas -- Conference USA announced that Old Dominion University men’s golfer Chad Hess was one of 14 winners of the Conference USA Spring Spirit of Service Award.
The C-USA Spirit of Service Award is designed to recognize the community service efforts of the league's student-athletes, based upon significant community service, good academic standing and participation in their elected sport.
A native of Orefield, Pennsylvania, Hess was the male recipient of the Broderick Award, given to the best all-around student-athlete at ODU. He competed in all nine events during his senior campaign, with a score average of 74.
