WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Jakob Henriksson carded a final-round 3-under 67 to take individual medalist honors at the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate, hosted by William & Mary. Henriksson becomes the first Monarch freshman to win an event since Nick Rencis took first place at the Greenbrier Collegiate Invitational in April 2016.
"I'm very proud of the team for a second-place finish," head coach Murray Rudisill said. "We were right in it the entire last round, and it is fun to have a chance to win. That's what we work hard for, to be in those positions to win in the final round.
