Culver Lamb hit a grand slam and Nick Walker added a solo shot Wednesday night as Old Dominion beat William & Mary 11-6 in a nonconference baseball game at Plumeri Park.
Lamb's homer capped a five-run third inning that helped the Monarchs erase a 2-0 Tribe lead. Walker's shot down the left field line in the seventh provided the decisive run, giving the Monarchs a 7-4 lead. ODU added a pair of runs in both the eighth and ninth innings.
Lamb (Tallwood High), finished with two hits. Walker (Kellam) also had two hits along with three RBIs and two runs scored.
