NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University spring football practice will start on Tuesday, Mar. 19 and concludes with the annual spring game on Saturday, April 13. The spring game will be played at Powhatan Field.
The Monarchs return 12 starters from a season ago, four on offense, five on defense and all three specialists. Senior running back Kesean Strong led ODU and finished seventh in Conference USA in rushing yards per game, while junior linebacker Lawrence Garner finished second in C-USA in tackles per game.
ODU signed 28 student-athletes in this year’s recruiting class, including 14 junior college transfers.
