Old Dominion junior Danielle Grega was selected as a member of the U21 Women’s National Team, USA Field Hockey announced.
“She has worked hard to put herself in position to earn selection, and I look forward to seeing her make an impact internationally as well,” ODU coach Andrew Griffits said.
According to a release from USA Field Hockey, athletes were evaluated throughout the year at various training camps and during the college season.
As a junior, the Kingston, Pa., native led the Lady Monarchs with 15 points. She was a first-team All-Big East pick.
