GILBERT, Ariz. -- For the ninth consecutive year, the Old Dominion field hockey team has earned the Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division I National Academic Team Award.
The Division I National Academic Team Award recognizes programs that earned a team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher during the fall semester of the 2018-19 school year.
The Monarchs have received the honor in every season under head coach Andrew Griffiths and every year since 2010.
