NORFOLK, Va. – The Penn Monto/NFHCA Division I National Coaches Poll was released earlier on Tuesday and the Old Dominion field hockey team (4-1) cracked the top-25, coming in at No. 22 on the rankings.
The Monarchs are in the midst of a four-game winning streak, defeating American, William & Mary, then-No. 17 Penn State and Virginia Commonwealth. In the four victories, ODU has allowed just two goals and shut out two opponents.
Erin Huffman, Rebecca Birch and Riley Taylor each have two goals while goalkeeper Cam MacGillivray has 17 saves and has posted a goals against average of 1.
