ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Old Dominion women's golf team finished in 15th place at the UCF Challenge Tuesday at the Eagle Creek Golf Club in Orlando. Individually, Charlotte De Corte was the highest placing Monarch, as the sophomore from Londerzeel, Belgium placed 23rd out of 96 golfers.
No. 50 Clemson and No. 14 Miami tied for the team title, as the Tigers and Hurricanes finished the three-round tournament 14-under par. No. 17 Texas, No. 20 UCF and Mississippi State finished in a three-way tie for third, just four strokes behind.
The Monarchs finished in 15th place ahead of South Florida and UNC Wilmington.
