COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Old Dominion field hockey junior Danielle Grega has been selected to represent the United States as a member of the 2017 U-21 Women's National Team, as was announced by USA Field Hockey this week.
"This is a great opportunity for Danielle, and it is very well-deserved," head coach Andrew Griffiths said. "She has worked hard to put herself in position to earn selection, and I look forward to seeing her make an impact internationally as well."
According to the release from USA Field Hockey, "athletes were evaluated throughout the year at U-21 training camps, high performance and Junior National Camps, the Young Women's National Championship and during the college season.
