NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion University baseball scored a season-high 18 runs on 21 hits to defeat Yale 18-10 Saturday at the Bud Metheny Baseball Complex.
Heading into the sixth inning tied at three, ODU scored five runs in the sixth, seven in the seventh and three in the eighth to blow it up.
All nine ODU starters had a hit and eight of nine had at least two hits in the offensive onslaught.
Yale scored an unearned run in the top of the first inning but the Monarchs came right back in the bottom of the inning.
