Baseball Tops Norfolk State, 9-1

NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University baseball scored six runs in the bottom of the six to pull away from Norfolk State, defeating the Spartans 9-1 Tuesday evening at the Bud Metheny Baseball Complex. The game was called due to darkness after the seventh inning. ODU suffered a power outage during the inning.

Leading in the seventh 3-1, Old Dominion (5-7) started the inning with a leadoff single from D.J. Lardge. After Lardge stole second, Jimbo Reemsnyder reached on an error to put runners on first and third with nobody out. Bryce Windham executed a bunt single to score Lardge.
