BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Old Dominion baseball team extended its win streak to eight as the Monarchs took down Florida Atlantic, 7-2 on Friday night at FAU Baseball Stadium. The Monarchs' bats came alive in the eighth inning when sophomore recorded his first Monarch home run to spark a five-run inning.
"It was a good ball game, and I was proud of our guys for hanging in there. We were finally able to put up a big inning with five runs in the eighth," ODU head coach said. "Wheeler picked a great time for his first home run of the year.
