RICHMOND, Va. – The Old Dominion (13-4) baseball team took down Richmond, 4-3 on Saturday afternoon to remain unbeaten on the road this season. Freshman Carter Trice delivered a two-run homer in the top of the fifth inning to tie up the ball game, 3-3. Andy Garriola then capitalized off a Richmond (5-4) wild pitch in the fifth to take a 4-3 advantage the rest of the way.
"It was a good ball game. Both teams pitched well," ODU head coach Chris Finwood said. "Trice had a big home run for us and we got some big double plays down the stretch.
