NORFOLK, Va. - Nick Pantos pitched five shutout innings, Matt Coutney and Robbie Petracci both hit their first career home runs, while the Old Dominion (5-1, 0-0 C-USA) baseball team earned a 11-2 win over Holy Cross (1-5, 0-0 Patriot League) on Sunday afternoon at the Bud Mutheny Baseball Complex.
The Monarchs grabbed a 3-0 lead in the first inning after pushing across three runs off three hits, highlighted by a Matt Burch single and a Kyle Battle double. The Crusader club produced one hit in the second inning but left two on base.
