NORFOLK, Va. – For the second straight month, an Old Dominion men’s tennis player was named the Conference USA Tennis Athlete of the Month, this time it was Aziz Kijametovic garnering the honor for competition during the month of October.
Kijametovic went a perfect 5-0 in doubles and won the 2017 ITA Atlantic Regional Tournament, punching his ticket to the National Tournament. Kijametovic and teammate Francois Musitelli downed opponents from Duquesne, George Washington, Virginia Tech (No. 2 seed), Penn State (No. 4 seed) and UVA (No. 5 seed) to claim the coveted Regional crown.
