Oklahoma State’s starting punter, Zach Sinor, underwent surgery on Tuesday to repair a hernia and is out indefinitely, sources told Pistols Firing.
Sinor started all 13 games for the Cowboys last season, averaging 43.1 yards per punt on 38 attempts with a long of 57 and five total touchbacks. He is expected to return at some point this season.
With Sinor out indefinitely, redshirt senior Matt Hockett should see an increased role as OSU’s punter in the interim.
PFB will update this developing story.
