Jordan Lamont Williams has been dismissed from the OSU wrestling team after two alcohol-related arrests within one year of each other.

Williams was charged Wednesday for public intoxication and malicious injury to property. The charges are criminal misdemeanors, which can mean penalties of up to $500 in fines or up to a year in jail, or both, according to website Tulsa Criminal Attorney.

In a statement reported by Pistols Firing Blog, new head coach David Taylor said Williams has been removed from the team.

"Jordan Williams is no longer part of the Cowboy Wrestling program due to a rules violation," Taylor said in a statement.
