SCOTTSDALE, Arizona - An early four-game stretch in Oklahoma State’s season correlated with a lot of winning.
But for Jaylen Warren, OSU’s consecutive victories over Boise State, Kansas State, Baylor and Texas also led to plenty of soreness.
Warren, a senior running back, carried the ball 128 times in that four-game span, a total that averages out to 32 attempts per game. The physical runner who ground out critical closing minutes in a bruising style absorbed dozens of hits in games.
“Every single snap, he is going to hit somebody right in the teeth,” Dunn said.
