With the regular season coming to an end and a share of the Big 12 title on the line, coach Chris Young and the Cowgirls are trying to not get ahead of themselves.
“We are just focusing on what we need to do,” Young said. “We want to be playing our best tennis heading into the postseason.”
If the Oklahoma State women’s tennis team wins its remaining two matches this regular season, the No .9 Cowgirls (18-4 overall, 6-1 Big 12) will secure back-to-back Big 12 titles and just the second title in program history.
“This weekend is going to about continuing to improve and having the confidence to play our best tennis at the right time,” Young said.
