STILLWATER — Tre Flowers doesn't know how he'll react when he runs out of the tunnel Saturday at Boone Pickens Stadium.
But he knows exactly how he'll feel.
Overjoyed.
Not because it'll be the season opener. Not because he'll be the starting free safety on a defense hoping to do big things. Not because he'll be on the field at all.
It's because his dad will be in the stands.
"There was a time I ran out there and I didn't think he was going to be there again," the Cowboy safety said.
But Saturday afternoon, Rodney Flowers will be there.
