Why Oklahoma State is a sleeper in Big 12 basketball

Oklahoma State isn't getting a big push as a contender for the Big 12 men's basketball title this season. But why not?

CBSSports.com's Jon Rothstein lists the Cowboys as his sleeper team in the conference this season, pumping up Travis Ford in an underdog role and the Cowboys' cast of role players. From Rothstein:

"Travis Ford has quietly gotten to Cowboys to five NCAA Tournaments in his seven years in Stillwater and just like last season, his team is starting the season in the shadows. That's just fine with Oklahoma State. Two years ago this program was deemed a Final Four contender early in the preseason and history has proven that Ford does his best work when he has to coach with an edge.
