Mike Gundy recently told Guerin Emig of the Tulsa World that pretty much no matter what anyone says or does, he’s going to continue picking up three-star kids and winning 10 games a year.
On one level I respect this. Stay in your lane. Know your role. All of the cliches. On another level, I know (and I presume Gundy knows) that barring some sort of miracle, this philosophy is never going to win a national championship and it probably won’t win many in the Big 12, either. He’s undeterred.
