What Rashod Owens’ Commitment Means for Oklahoma State

Oklahoma State needed him, and they got him. On Tuesday morning Class of 2020 athlete Rashod Owens committed to the Cowboys, culminating a brief recruiting process that saw him get an offer just a week ago.

Owens is commitment No. 18 for OSU in the cycle, and it comes just a day ahead of the early signing period. Here’s what it means for the Pokes.

Much-needed skill talent: This class has been built around the trenches, with four offensive linemen and one defensive lineman making up a huge chunk of the outgoing scholarships. As the class has unfolded, it’s become clear skill talent — receiver and running back — is the only major positional need that needed some work.
